

Allegra is a new heart-warming comedy with music from Olivier and Tony Award nominated playwright Peter Quilter, at a West End, London venue. Dame Maureen Lipman stars in the title role, with direction and choreography by three-time Olivier Award winner Stephen Mear.
The show follows Allegra, who sings at home, in the street, and even in local shops and cafés. At times the orchestra exists only in her imagination, and at times it spills into the real world, affecting everyone around her. Her brother Ronen and her carer Anna try to keep life steady while protecting the person they love.
The production includes musical numbers such as Singin’ in the Rain, Ain’t No Sunshine, Dream A Little Dream Of Me and Happy Days Are Here Again. Dame Maureen Lipman appears in her first UK tour for 20 years.
