

Oliver! at the Gielgud Theatre is Cameron Mackintosh’s new production of Lionel Bart’s musical, fully reconceived with director and choreographer Matthew Bourne. It brings Charles Dickens’ story of the boy who asked for more to the stage.
The Olivier, Tony and Oscar-winning score includes Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I’d Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah and As Long As He Needs Me.
Produced and revised by Cameron Mackintosh, the show is directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne, with co-direction by Jean-Pierre van der Spuy. It is a Cameron Mackintosh & Chichester Festival Theatre production, with design by Lez Brotherston, lighting by Paule Constable and Ben Jacobs, sound by Adam Fisher, video by George Reeve, original orchestrations by William David Brohn adapted by Stephen Metcalfe, and music supervision by Graham Hurman.

Simon Lipkin plays Fagin, Shanay Holmes plays Nancy, Aaron Sidwell plays Bill Sikes, Billy Jenkins plays the Artful Dodger and Philip Franks plays Mr Brownlow. Matt Lucas will play Fagin from 22 September to 1 November 2026.
