Handsome House Party

Hilit Kolet returns to Handsome for another serving of intense percussive house.

As a teenager obsessed with dance music Hilit moved to London in search of a career in electronic music; finding a spiritual home in legendary Soho record shop Black Market Records, she soaked up the city’s unique club culture.

Her debut as an artist came with the jackin’ 'Techno Disco' on Defected - landing at #1 on Music Week's Upfront Club Chart and #3 on Shazam's Discovery chart. Her latest productions include three epic collaborations: 'Spin, Sin, Slay' with DJ Minx, 'Transatlantic Kiki' with The Illustrious Blacks, and 'Miss Behave' with BBC Radio 1 host Sarah Story.

Support for Hilit’s original tracks as well as innovative re-edits has come in strong from some of the world’s greatest DJs, with Carl Cox, Skream, Radio Slave, Paul Woolford, Jamie Jones, Eliza Rose, Maya Jane Coles, Patrick Topping, Haai and Chloe Caillet all fans of her production work. Her finely-crafted update of Laurent Garnier’s underground classic ‘Crispy Bacon’ is loved by Laurent himself, who released it as a bonus track on his most recent album. 2024 also saw Hilit remix Joe Goddard (‘Destiny’) and Basement Jaxx, who loved her ‘Fly Life’ edit and decided to release it officially.

She's played for Handsome a couple of times already and delivers her trademark tracking sound with a queer twist.
