Arcadia at the Duke of York's Theatre, London, is Sir Tom Stoppard's play about the pull between science, romance, chaos and order. Following its critically acclaimed run at the Old Vic, this new West End production is directed by Carrie Cracknell.

Set in a country house two centuries apart, the story moves between 1809 and the present day. Teenage prodigy Thomasina Coverly explores mathematics, nature and the forces that shape the universe and the human heart, while author Hannah Jarvis investigates a mysterious chapter in Lord Byron's life.

The play examines curiosity, lost knowledge and discovery as past and present begin to echo across time. The Duke of York's Theatre is being newly renovated into the round especially for this production, which opens for a strictly limited 12-week run from 20 June.

Suitable for ages 14+. For access booking, call 0333 009 5399. A BSL performance is scheduled for Saturday 15 August at 7pm, and there is an evening captioned performance on 6 August.
