Arcadia at Duke of York's Theatre is Sir Tom Stoppard's play, transferring to the West End this summer after its critically acclaimed run at The Old Vic. Directed by Carrie Cracknell, it opens at the Duke of York's Theatre on St Martin's Lane.

Set in a country house across two centuries, Arcadia moves between 1809 and the present day. It follows teenage prodigy Thomasina Coverly as she explores mathematics and the forces that shape the universe, alongside author Hannah Jarvis as she investigates a chapter in Lord Byron's life.

The play brings together science, romance and questions about order, disorder and the patterns of life. The Duke of York's Theatre is being newly renovated into the round especially for this production.

Key facts: Opens 20 June for a strictly limited 12-week run. Suitable for ages 14+. BSL performance: Saturday 15 August at 7pm; captioned performance: 6 August in the evening.
