

London’s highly anticipated FREE music and performance festival, King’s Cross Summer Sounds, is making a grand return this summer, marking its 11th year with an extraordinary lineup of artists for its 2026 edition. From 13-23 August, King’s Cross audiences are invited to slow down, settle in and soak up with a diverse programme that seamlessly blends the world’s best folk, jazz, soul, classical and indie rock music with dynamic dance performances and exceptional local talent, all set against the backdrop of the iconic Coal Drops Yard.
Highlights include a celebration of 35 years of Tomorrow's Warriors, the Motown Gospel Choir, Lightroom's Bowie Nights. The line-up also features Americana-inspired act Little Grandad, plus a special showcase from five community choirs, including London City Voices and the West End Musical Choir.
Queer Britain and Sounds Queer will be present championing diverse voices and sounds
from across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum with performances from Kimmy Beatbox, Dyan Tai, Thandi Phoenix, Arno Sacco and Bessi; and the English Folk Dance & Song Society showcase with global folk from Mishra and progressive instrumental folk from Pons Aelius.
