Not One Step Back Fest returns for another round, presenting you with the very best in left-field, genre-bending bands floating at the top of the murky pools of Post-Punk, Noise-Rock and various flavours of Hardcore.

Sugar Horse - (Noise-Rock/Monotonous -Cork IE)

Sugar Horse aren’t just a whisper and a wrecking ball, they’re a band built exactly for right now, for this cracked and gorgeous moment. The four of them feel destined to outrun the UK buzz that’s trailed them nervously, because their third LP Not a Sound in Heaven isn’t locked behind metal’s velvet rope. An impossibly heavy gut-punch is machined just as much for the shoegaze kids as it is for followers of heft, death and decay.

DazGak! are a 4 piece Post-Hardcore band from Cork City, Ireland. Their music can best

be described as a blend of Hardcore Emo, Punk, and catchy pop hooks. Since forming in

mid-2021 they have played shows across Ireland, the UK, and Italy supporting artists such as FEAR, Overhead The Albatross, and A Burial At Sea.

Janky , angular and catchy are all adjectives that can and have been used to describe DazGak! Pop songs that are abrasive as they are hooky are a staple of what this banddoes best. You can't sleep on this!
