About Dark of the Moon
Dark of the Moon at The Arches is a new musical about supernatural witchcraft, small-town prejudice and the power of love. It follows Barbara Allen, a human girl, and John, a curious witch-boy, as they try to build a life together despite pressure from their communities.
The story sits between a rural Appalachian town and the mystical world of witches and warlocks from the Smoky Mountains above it. Its score reflects those two worlds with a blend of country/bluegrass and rock.
Key facts: Suitable for ages 15+.
