Sunday Comedy at Brixton House, starring Slim

Celebrate Carnival 60 as we bring the stage alive with spirit and vibrancy to honour Caribbean legacy with a belly full of laughter.

A night of entertainment featuring the best in African-Caribbean comedy. Headlined by Slim, the first UK Black comedian to play the world-famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles and a familiar face from Live at the Apollo, and hosted by fellow Live at the Apollo star Thanyia Moore.

The line up also includes Diesel, the dynamic, high-energy comedian who was shortlisted for the prestigious BBC New Comedy Awards, solidifying his place as one of the most exciting new voices in British comedy. Plus Kyrah Gray, who's rise on the comedy circuit has included performing at the prestigious O2 Arena stage as part of Mo Gilligan's Black British Takeover.

The event is part of Carnival 60, an event programme taking place this month to mark the 60th anniversary of Notting Hill Carnival atmodern theatre and creative hub Brixton House in partnership with Supermalt, the UK's leading malt drink brand. Running from now until 28th August, the Carnival 60 programme brings family workshops, a live artist's residency, comedy, parties and music to the venue in the heart of Brixton, with events open to all.
