The Oresteia at the Bridge Theatre is Simon Stone’s contemporary reworking of the Greek myth. Stone, the Australian theatre and film director known for radical reimaginings of classic works including Yerma and Phaedra, returns to the Bridge after staging The Lady from the Sea starring Alicia Vikander and Andrew Lincoln.
A contemporary family wakes up in a Greek myth and cannot seem to find a way out of its hellish destiny.
