At Bridge Theatre, The Oresteia is Simon Stone’s contemporary take on a Greek myth. A contemporary family wakes up inside the story and cannot seem to find a way out of its hellish destiny.
Stone is an Australian theatre and film director known for his radical reworkings of classic works, including Yerma and Phaedra. He also staged The Lady from the Sea at the Bridge Theatre last year.
