About The Oresteia

The Oresteia at the Bridge Theatre is Simon Stone’s production. Stone is the Australian theatre and film director known for radical reimaginings of classic works, including Yerma and Phaedra, and he returned to the Bridge after staging The Lady from the Sea starring Alicia Vikander and Andrew Lincoln last year.

A contemporary family wakes up in a Greek myth and cannot seem to find a way out of its hellish destiny.

Key fact: A BSL performance is scheduled for Saturday 12th December at 14:30.
