The Oresteia at the Bridge Theatre is Simon Stone’s contemporary take on a Greek myth. A contemporary family wakes up in a Greek myth and can’t seem to find a way out of its hellish destiny.
Simon Stone is the Australian theatre and film director behind radical reimaginings of classic works including Yerma and Phaedra. He returns to the Bridge Theatre after The Lady from the Sea, which starred Alicia Vikander and Andrew Lincoln.
The production continues Stone’s work with classic material at the venue.
