Pride is at the Bridge Theatre in London. Set in 1984, it follows activist Mark Ashton as he brings together lesbian and gay campaigners and striking miners in South Wales, with the story shaped around solidarity, humour and hope.
Following record-breaking sold-out runs at Cardiff’s Sherman Theatre and London’s National Theatre, this new musical comes from the writer and director of the original hit film. It uses an original soundtrack of songs inspired by pop, rock, disco and the rich Welsh choral tradition.
The production moves to the Bridge Theatre from 12 November.
Running time: 2 hrs 40 mins including a 20 min interval.
Age guidance: suitable for ages 12 and over.
This production contains flashing and strobing lights and haze.
