About Ivanov
Ivanov at the Bridge Theatre is Simon Stone’s contemporary production of Chekhov’s comic drama. It follows Nikolai as debts build, his wife’s health worsens and his marriage and career come under strain.
Set around a party at the Lebedevs’, the play focuses on a man trying to hold together work, home life and a growing sense that something is wrong. It is a modern staging of a classic story about discontent, pressure and personal uncertainty.
