About Ivanov
Ivanov is Simon Stone's contemporary staging of Chekhov's comic drama. It follows Nikolai, a man who feels he has forgotten how to be happy while trying to keep his marriage, career and finances on track.
As debts build and his wife is affected by unexplained illnesses, Nikolai faces a party at the Lebedevs and the question of whether he can hold his life together. The production is created with the same creative team behind The Lady from the Sea.
Age guidance: no one under 5 is permitted in the auditorium, and the show is advised for ages 12+. Late entry: latecomers may be admitted during a suitable break during the performance.
