

Into the Woods at the Bridge Theatre is Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s musical about the Baker, the Baker’s Wife, the Witch, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella and Rapunzel, as they move beyond the promise of happy ever after to find out what really matters. The story follows their reasons for going into the woods, from trying to lift a spell to visiting a mother or finding the king.
The production brings together well-known fairy tale characters in a single story with themes of grief, death and graphic violence. It also includes haze, strobe lighting in Act 2 only, and loud noises.
