About Into the Woods

Into the Woods at Bridge Theatre is Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s musical, bringing together the Baker, the Baker’s Wife, the Witch, Jack, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella and Rapunzel. The story follows their separate reasons for going into the woods, from selling the cow and lifting the spell to visiting mother, seeing the king and finding themselves.

The show moves beyond happy ever after as these fairy-tale characters’ paths cross and their wishes, choices and consequences begin to shape what really matters.

Key dates: Captioned performance on Friday 30 January at 19:30. Audio Described & Touch Tour on Saturday 21 February at 14:30. This production contains themes of grief and death, graphic violence, haze, strobe in Act 2 only and loud noises.

Before you book

No one under the age of 5 is permitted within the auditorium. All audience members must have a valid ticket, and no children are allowed on laps.
