Death Note The Musical at the Barbican reimagines the legendary manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata for London, in collaboration with original producers HoriPro. The story begins when brilliant student Light Yagami finds a notebook with the power over life and death.
As Light tries to reshape the world, he is drawn into a relentless battle of wits with the elusive detective L. Every name carries consequences in this adaptation of a manga that has sold over 30 million copies worldwide.
The production features a score by Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominee Frank Wildhorn, with lyrics by Jack Murphy and a book by Ivan Menchell.
