About Death Note The Musical
Death Note The Musical brings the manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata to London in a stage version created in collaboration with original producers HoriPro. The story follows brilliant student Light Yagami after he discovers a notebook with the power over life and death, drawing him into a battle of wits with the elusive detective L.
The musical features a score by Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominee Frank Wildhorn, with lyrics by Jack Murphy and a book by Ivan Menchell. With over 30 million copies sold worldwide, the source material has a wide readership, and this production presents that story in musical form for the stage.
Running time: Approximately 2 hours 20 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.
