Death Note The Musical at the Barbican brings Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata’s manga to the stage, reimagined for London in collaboration with original producers HoriPro. The story follows brilliant student Light Yagami after he discovers a notebook with the power over life and death, placing him in a battle of wits with the elusive detective L.
The production is based on a manga that has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. It features a score by Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominee Frank Wildhorn, with lyrics by Jack Murphy and a book by Ivan Menchell.
Running time: Approximately 2 hours 20 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.
Age guidance: 12+. No under 5s will be admitted.
