About My Son’s A Queer (But What Can You Do?)
My Son’s A Queer (But What Can You Do?) is at Shaftesbury Ave, Soho, London W1D 7EZ. It is the autobiographical story of West End Musical Theatre star and social-media sensation Rob Madge, who looks back at a childhood attempt to stage a full Disney parade at home for their Grandma.
The show follows Rob as they recreate that parade, with wigs, costumes and a cast of characters including Mary Poppins, Ariel, Mickey Mouse and Belle. In the story, Rob’s Dad helps out as Stage Manager, Sound Technician and Goofy, while Mum mistakes Aladdin for Ursula and the parade does not go quite as planned.
