Sinatra The Musical comes to the West End at the Aldwych Theatre from June 2026. The show follows Frank Sinatra from New Year’s Eve 1942, when he is about to perform at New York City’s Paramount Theatre, through the rise, fallout and comeback that shaped his career.
Written by two-time Tony Award-winning writer Joe DiPietro and directed and choreographed by Olivier Award-winning and three-time Tony Award-winning Kathleen Marshall, the production features more than twenty classic hits, including “That’s Life”, “One For My Baby”, “The Best Is Yet to Come” and “I’ve Got the World on a String”. It presents Sinatra’s story alongside the relationships with Nancy Sinatra and Ava Gardner.
The show is described as a portrait of the legendary singer, tracing how his voice captured a nation, how a hostile press and scandal affected his career, and how he fought back to stage a major comeback in show business.
Running time: Approx. 2hr 45min, including 1 interval.
Age guidance: Recommended for ages 13+. Children under 5 cannot be admitted. The show contains haze effects, swearing, mild violence, smoking and nudity. There may also be lighting and video effects that could be considered as strobe.
