Sinatra The Musical is coming to the Aldwych Theatre in the West End from June 2026. The show begins on New Year’s Eve 1942, when a 27-year-old Italian-American singer steps on to the stage at New York City’s Paramount Theatre and gives the performance that changes his life.
As Frank Sinatra’s voice takes hold of a nation, his personal life becomes increasingly complicated, with his heart divided between his wife, Nancy, and Ava Gardner. When scandal and a hostile press put his career into a tailspin, the story follows his fight back and the comeback that helped define his place in show business history.
It is created by two-time Tony Award-winning writer Joe DiPietro and director and choreographer Kathleen Marshall, who has won Olivier and three Tony Awards. The musical features more than twenty classic hits, including “That’s Life”, “One For My Baby”, “The Best Is Yet to Come” and “I’ve Got the World on a String”.
