Sinatra The Musical at the Aldwych Theatre is heading to the West End from June 2026. Written by two-time Tony Award-winning Joe DiPietro and directed and choreographed by Olivier Award-winning and three-time Tony Award-winning Kathleen Marshall, it tells the story of Frank Sinatra at a key moment in his life and career.
Set on New Year’s Eve 1942, the show begins with a 27-year-old Italian-American singer stepping onto the stage of New York City’s Paramount Theatre. As Sinatra’s voice wins over a nation, his private life is strained by his marriage to Nancy and his relationship with Ava Gardner, before scandal and press scrutiny lead to a major comeback. The musical includes over twenty classic hits, including “That’s Life”, “One For My Baby”, “The Best Is Yet to Come” and “I’ve Got the World on a String”.
