About The Comedy About Spies
The Comedy About Spies is at the Adelphi Theatre in London’s West End. Mischief’s spy comedy returns for a limited 8-week summer run, following a sold-out 2025 summer season.
From the team behind The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, the show follows a rogue British agent whose stolen top-secret plans draw CIA and KGB spies to London’s Piccadilly Hotel. A clueless young couple, a hapless actor and a tangle of double agents drive the action in this 1960s spy escapade.
The production won Best New Play at the WhatsOnStage Awards 2026.
Running time: 2 hours 20 minutes, including a 20 minute interval.
