The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind at Soho Place is a new musical telling the true story of William Kamkwamba. As drought closes in on his family's farm and village, William tries to build a windmill with library books and scraps of old machinery.
The production is a world premiere, based on William Kamkwamba's memoir and Chiwetel Ejiofor's film. It is directed by Lynette Linton, with book and lyrics by Richy Hughes and music and lyrics by Tim Sutton.
