Tao Of Glass is playing at 4 Soho Place in London. This West End premiere is a collaboration between composer Philip Glass and performer-director Phelim McDermott, exploring life, loss and the question of where true inspiration comes from.

Inspired by a dream, the show combines ten meditations on life, death and Taoist wisdom with ten new pieces of music by Glass. It is presented by McDermott with an ensemble of musicians and puppeteers, and is described as part-concert, part-performance.

Produced by Factory International, Improbable and Nica Burns, the production has received five-star notices from The Guardian, The Times and What’s On Stage, and four stars from The Telegraph, The Observer and The Arts Desk.
