Stand up to Cancer Fundraiser at the Laughter House comedy Club
A comedy line-up with some of the Northwest's funniest comedians for what will be a great night of stand-up comedy.
Headliner- Stephen Cookson
"Stephen Cookson has some of the finest crafted one-liners on the circuit today. He also possesses a finely tuned comic timing way beyond his experience as a newer comic" Phil Walker
"Deadpan one-liners that were perfectly executed and written. Had one lady hyperventilating and begging for him to stop. The quality of this man's gags are up there with Milton Jones and Gary Delaney" Bryan Malcolm (The Haha Club)
"Worryingly funny. Frankly I hope he stops doing comedy before he costs me work"
Gary Delaney
Opening - Tom McSharry
Opening Tom is a local comedian very funny and making a name for himself all over the North West with his funny anecdotes and memorable energetic performances.
Featuring:
Mick Fleming - relatively new to stand-up, but a natural performer with his old school comedy sets, a winner with the none woke brigade. Mick returns after a long battle with cancer to perform for his chosen charities that have been amazing by supporting him with his recent battles.
Dave Rowlands - Southport new comedian of the year 2025 finalist & winner of Hot water Comedy Club 3 minutes of fame gong show. Dave is really making a name for himself in a short space of time. "Dave has bags of charisma & scouse charm that makes him a fan favourite and naturally funny" devine comedy.
Jamie Murray - James Murray was a finalist in the Hot Water Comedy Club's Comedian of the Year competition 2024. Known for sharp wit, observational comedy, and laid-back storytelling.
Compere - Mark Devine - still new to the comedy world but "Mark Known for his quick wit and relatable anecdotes, Mark's likable personality ensures a memorable experience for all." Alan Finnigan Britain's Got Talent finalist. Alan assured Mark, "no one will actually read this bit you know" 😂
