Huge thanks to all the sellers and buyers that persevered on Sunday as we had a full day despite the sprinkling of rain. Great turn out considering the weather forecasts.

Back again on THURSDAY - where we expect a good number of sellers and hopefully lots more buyers. There isn’t a Car Boot in Suffolk on a Thursday so please support us if you want there to be one. It’s school holidays - sellers are looking for places to sell so we just need you all to take 15 minutes and have a browse. 7 onwards although we open the gates at 6am - Midweek Car Boots liven up after 8am.

Sunday will be busy as usual and weather looking great this weekend. we only have 20 covered stalls and they do sell quickly. Irrespective of that we should have a lot of sellers and lots of buyers. No booking needed, as usual, just turn up and sell from £7.

Next Sunday 9th August 2026 we have The Big Bus Show at the same time as the Car Boot and this is extremely popular especially as there are buses to Stonham regularly throughout the day. Plus a week (16th August) later we have The Classic Car Show which is Stonham’s biggest show.

Covered stalls are available for £13 and include a guaranteed main field pitch near the toilets and food area. You can park directly behind your stall. They're popular and handy when shade is needed. To book, text 07817 539168. Everyone else just turn up on the day no booking needed.

These events run alongside the Car Boot, bringing even bigger crowds.

Thursday Car Boot Returns

The Thursday Car Boot reopened on 23rd July and runs until 3rd September. Selling is £7 for all vehicle sizes and no pitch size restrictions. Opening time will be 7am onwards. It livens up after 8am and with the shops opening. As I keep saying there’s always so much interest from the sellers we just need the buyers to show the same and make it a regular event like the Sundays.

Please take cardboard boxes home or flatten them before putting them in the bins. Thank you.

Selling Information

·       No booking needed (except covered stalls).

·       Most sellers arrive from 7am, with early arrivals from 5:30am.

·       Buyers are admitted as sellers arrive, so please allow sellers space to unload.

·       If you need to leave early, please pay Simon (yellow top) or at the food van before leaving.

·       Cars – £7

·       Small Vans – £8.50

·       Cars + Trailer – £10

·       Small Vans + Trailer – £11.50

·       Large Vans – £13

·       Large Vans + Trailer – £16

·       Cars with Gazebos – £10

·       Covered Stalls – £13

·       Huge Vans – £16

Need extra space? Just let us know when you’re being positioned. For a car, an extra pitch is £3 more (£10 instead of £7). Similar additional charges apply to vans.

Plant, bulb and gardening sellers are welcome with no restrictions. Food and drink sellers should contact Simon before attending.
