About

Niall McNamee is an Irish singer‑songwriter and actor,  from Dundalk, Co. Louth. He grew up between England and Ireland, steeped in football, folk music, and storytelling, influences that now define his voice as one of the most distinctive emerging artists in the Irish‑British music scene.

Moving to London at 17, he worked on building sites while gigging relentlessly in pubs and grassroots venues, building a loyal following through raw, full‑blooded performances. His songwriting blends indie energy, Celtic trad spirit, and modern singer‑songwriter honesty, drawing comparisons to Shane McGowan, Dolores O’Riordan, Chris Martin, and Alex Turner.

As an actor, McNamee has starred opposite Pierce Brosnan, and Jackie Chan in The Foreigner, more recently alongside Steve Coogan in Saipan. and in Series 2 of the Channel 5 period drama "The Hardacres". His breakout acting moment came with "Love Without Walls", where he played a struggling London songwriter performing his own music throughout the film.

In 2025, he released his debut album 'Glass & Mirrors', a deeply personal collection exploring identity, Irishness, London life, love, and survival. Critics praised its emotional range and narrative grit, calling him “a genuinely exciting prospect” and “totally original… the punk lovechild of Shane McGowan, Johnny Cash and Joe Strummer.”

For this show he will be performing with two other musicians as a trio
