Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night

Funhouse Comedy Club brings another night full of laughter to The Pavilion at Ingleside House, on Friday August 14th.

Topping the bill is the appealing and gripping writer and comedian Eddy Brimson. Known as a 'geezer' he is one of the most entertaining comedians on the circuit. Having made many TV appearances including Eastenders, Absolutely Fabulous, The Thin Blue and Casualty, he has also featured in TV adverts such as Snickers and Bacardi Breezer. Travelling all over the world as a stand-up he once even did a gig naked!

Opening the night will be international comedian, actor and writer Brendan Dempsey. His humour is of the anthropological kind; funniest when he paints the picture, then points out how daft it all is.

Completing the line-up is the instantly likeable Harvey Hawkins, BBC New Comedy Award nominee who won the Birmingham Breaking Talent Award at Birmingham Glee Club chosen by a panel of judges including comedy legend, Jasper Carrott. He quickly develops a rapport with the crowd and delivers his razor-sharp punchlines with great skill.

Compere for the night will be Demitris Deech renowned for his ad-libbing he has been support act for several well known comedians such as Alan Carr, Russell Howard, Rhod Gilbert and has appeared on television with Alan Davis.
