Review of Scottish House & Disco Festival 5th Anniversary

The festival is great and the line-up are amazing, have been going several years in a row now. However, one small thing that dissapointed me this year was how little people (around 15 maybe) were left in the bigger room for the Melvo Baptiste, who deserves so much more (even majority of staff had disappeared at some point). He was playing from 11pm to 12am so it was not that late. I know it's not the organisers fault but I think for the future it will better if one of the rooms in closed after 10pm for example, so all people are in one room rather than spread between two rooms (even if it is the smaller room). This way it will be better for the amophere, for the DJs and I would guess it will save money for the organisers.

There was absolutely no availability of getting any food. So had to cut the evening short 🤬 as we were starving and had no energy left. 😮‍?'?😢

Outstanding event, incredible atmosphere 
Only suggestion for improvement would be food vans outside given the long event timings.

I would usualy give this all 5 stars but this year was a bit of a dissapointment. 10 hours of djs and dancing yet no food available. This was my 4th year here and never had this issue. No one was allowed to leave to get anything to eat and the answer from the stewards was "order a just eat" ..im sorry but that not really feasable  there wasnt even so much as a pack*t of crisps behind the bar. How anyone was meant to last all that time without anything was beyond me. By 10pm the place was half empty as probably like me and starving. Defo not as good an atmosphere or busy as previous years and if this is going to the be the case i prob wouldnt return.

The venue is good - but thinking of sustainability and safety- you can't take it your own cups that are sealed ie disco balls  so no chance of anyone putting anything in it etc - this years classic not allowed to bring in reusable straws ... venue needs to have a look at policies and read their clientele !
