Horse Meat Disco began life on New Year’s Day 2004 at The Eagle in Vauxhall. What started as a Sunday night London bacchanalia quietly grew into something much bigger. A party built on the idea that music comes first and everything else follows. As they’ve always said, you put the music at the top and the rest takes care of itself.

When HMD first joined us back in 2009 at The Admiral, that ethos felt instantly familiar. A packed Glasgow basement, hands in the air, and a soundtrack that treated disco not as nostalgia but as living, breathing dance music. It was a proper moment in our story, with countless more memorable parties together over the years to follow…

So it feels only right that, as we mark a quarter century of Melting Pot, we welcome them back to Glasgow for an Easter Saturday all day session alongside our trusty Melting Pot residents.

Expect a proper journey. Uplifting disco. Deep, rolling house. Big vocals. Left-field gems. The kind of records that make you grab your pals and smile at strangers. 

Think BIG daytime vibes, L’Acoustic sound systems, an outdoor terrace to chill out on, hunners of balloons, and the return of the mighty mirrorball!!
