Tregenver Adult Education Centre Falmouth

This is a fun and stimulating course, where even those who have never written before can develop the skills needed to create interesting characters, effective settings, purposeful dialogue and a controlled point of view. The course will focus on learning the craft of writing fiction, with an emphasis on the short story. You will be encouraged to develop your own writing skills through a series of writing-based activities designed to stimulate your creativity and also your ability to begin to edit and self assess your own work. This is a ten week course, running for two hours on Tuesday evenings. A second ten week term will be offered in January and a third in April 2013. Each term is enrolled and paid for as a separate unit, although the content of the course is progressive throughout.
