Weedipus are one of the UK's most exciting rising alternative bands, blending dreamy shoegaze textures with grungy edge and infectious dream pop melodies. Think Slowdive meets early '90s alt-rock, reworked with a fresh modern UK indie sound. With their debut out and momentum building fast, they're a band you'll want to catch now-before they blow up.
Joining them on the night are three standout local acts. The Urban, deliver raw, high-energy post-punk packed with grit, attitude, and punchy hooks. Opening things up, Echophoria are a brand new alt/shoegaze outfit bringing atmospheric sounds and shimmering guitars. Opening the show are five piece indie band e indie band The Spits.
