Dundee Dub Club returns to Monifieth for another sound system session, powered by OneLove HiFi

The Dubdee team have been running events for almost one year crafting sound systems and developing the dance. Come hear the message in the music;

You can expect to hear music played through a stack of speakers spanning the spectrum of reggae with MC's building energy in an explosion of Word, Sound, & Power. Selectors are prepared with tracks from rockers to ska, dub & digi, roots & dancehall. Crispy seven inch forty fives playing foundation sounds to the more contemporary steppers & four to the floor bangers; we will go there and back again.

We welcome Sonic Glory, a guitarist with the band Riddemption out of Glasgow. He has supported Dundee Dub Club since our very first session and we are honoured to have him at the desk running tunes for us.

We also have DJ Dynamite from the Scottish Borders coming to play a set for us. Owner of Dynamite Sound, DJ Dynamite is active across the scene in Scotland as a box lifter, decorator of the dance, and selector. Featuring at sessions in town halls, clubs and bars, and also many festivals.

The Dubdee All Stars will also be playing in rotation to keep the night running from seven when the needle drops all the way until midnight.

We are trailing a ticket system of driving, surviving, & thriving for adult tickets. We are all feeling the pinch and you are welcome to select the best ticket for you.

Under 18s are welcome with a youth ticket & they must be supervised by an over 18 adult with a driving, surviving, or thriving ticket.

Fully stocked bar and soft drinks available, please do not let under 18's approach the bar.
