Climax Clique returns to Lakota on Sunday 6 September.

The sun clearly got the memo, so we’re doing what Sundays were made for. Warmth, sensuality and expression away from the cis male gaze. From

3pm until 10pm, expect an afternoon that unfolds at its own pace before easing into the evening.

We welcome the FLINTA forward Embody crew who's mission is to create dance floors that are joyful, inclusive and connected -spaces where community, freedom and collective release sit at the centre.

Please Note: This is a Members Event- Members are permitted to bring two guests each. Attendance is limited to approved Club Love/Climax Clique Members only. Each member may bring two respectful FLINTA guests (non-member). Members are fully responsible for their guest and must ensure they are familiar with our dress code and event etiquette. Guests must arrive and enter together with their member.

A vibe check will be conducted at the door for all guests, which includes assessing general presentation and overall alignment with the spirit of Club Love. A viewing/dancing area one level up from the dance floor for those who need more space or a less intense experience. Quietish spaces throughout the venue for rest and conversation.

A note on this space

Climax Clique exists to centre FLINTA people. It is intentionally designed as a space away from cis men because there are very few places where many of our community can simply exist, flirt, dance, explore and connect without navigating those dynamics.

That also means we ask everyone attending to arrive with self awareness, generosity and respect for the purpose of the event.

Gender is deeply personal. It isn’t something that can be determined by appearance, clothing, voice, body type or anyone else’s assumptions. Please do not police, question or speculate about another person’s identity because they don’t match your expectations of what a lesbian, trans person, non binary person or any other member of our community “should” look like. If someone has been welcomed into this space, we ask that you respect that.

Likewise, we appreciate those who take the time to reflect before attending. We’ve had people reach out to us beforehand to ask thoughtful questions about whether the event is right for them, recognising that this is a deliberately centred space rather than a general nightlife event. That level of consideration is always welcomed.

Only you can decide whether this is the right event for you. We simply ask that if you choose to attend, you do so understanding that this space is not about taking up space, but about helping to hold it. If you’re looking for a broader mixed crowd, Club Love and Cottage Club may be better suited. Climax Clique exists for a different purpose, and we ask everyone to honour that purpose.

Above all, lead with curiosity instead of assumptions, kindness instead of scrutiny, and collective care over individual entitlement.
