Minxed: Next Gen w/ Mini Da Minx

Calling all aspiring DJs, MCs, producers, promoters and event makers! Grab your place at MINXED: NEXT GEN and get inspired by insights from our community of successful DJs, promoters, producers, performers and music industry professionals.

Joining us across the day are Mini Da Minx, Sarah Monument, Shino PArker, Miss Devine, Mynx, DJ Gash, Lisa Marie, Char, Jaybebaby (RUIN), KAYA and MX Heartz bringing experience from across DJing, production, live performance, promotion, touring, events, radio, music business and more.

Drawing on the success of the Brighton Music Conference, we want to take that baton and run with it. We also want to shine a light on the wide variety of roles available if music and events are where you want to bloom. There is so much more to the industry than the music alone, and many skills and life experiences you can draw on and give a chance to shine.

With a strong focus on inclusivity and nurturing creative talent, we want to make our collective knowledge and experience available to people looking to carve out their own niche in the industry. You’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on with DJ tech, attend workshops, hear from our industry panel, ask questions, build confidence and make connections.

There will also be Open Decks, giving emerging DJs the chance to sign up, step up and play to a real crowd.

Priority will be given to young women and LGBTQ+ people when booking slots for the workshops and Open Decks; however, everyone is welcome.
