Brighton Amores, we are BACK!

After a long wait, Popola returns to the coast on Friday 20th March, taking over the iconic The Tempest Inn. We're transforming this seafront gem into our very own Twerk Temple, a much-needed queer space celebrating Afro, Latin & Caribbean culture <3

This space centres diasporic queers, trans babes and queens for body liberation through explosive tropical rhythms. From slow wine to full-body release, expect the sounds that make our communities shake their asses to: Reggaeton, Baile Funk, Soca, Dancehall, Bouyon, Latin Bass & much moreeee.
