We're bringing beginner and improver-friendly line dancing to Digbeth, and you're invited to hit the dancefloor at Birmingham's first-ever dive bar!
Whether you've never tried line dancing before or you've been coming along to classes and socials for a while, this night is for you. We'll teach fun, upbeat dances step-by-step, then keep the floor moving with requests and all-level favourites throughout the night.
The evening is split into two teaching sessions:
🤠 Beginner teaches (7.30pm - 8.30pm)
Brand new to line dancing? This is where you'll want to start! We'll teach the basics, break down the steps, and help you build confidence on the dancefloor. No experience needed, no partner needed - just turn up and have fun.
🔥 Improver teaches (8.30pm - 9.30pm)
Been line dancing for a little while and ready to level up? This session is perfect if you've got some experience under your belt and want to try more challenging steps, patterns and dances.
Don't worry - the whole dancefloor is open to everyone! Beginners are more than welcome to join the improver dances too. They might take a little longer to master, but that's all part of the fun (and the best way to learn!).
If you've been coming to our beginner classes for a while, this is a great chance to step up, challenge yourself, and learn some of the bigger dances you see happening on the social floors.
And if this is your very first time trying line dancing? We absolutely can't wait to welcome you. This night is still made for you 💃
Expect everything from country favourites to pop, rock, hip hop and the songs you didn't realise could be line danced to 🎶
Everyone! Seriously.
Come solo, bring friends, bring your other half, or arrive not knowing anyone - you'll be welcomed straight into the community.
Line dancing is a brilliant way to meet people, get moving, and learn a skill you can take anywhere. Whether you're here for your first ever dance or you're ready to learn some new favourites, there's a place for you on the floor.
