We are incredibly proud to be fundraising for Alzheimer's Research UK at The Kingshurst & District Labour Club.

This is a cause that is very close to our hearts. We have watched people close to our family experience the devastating effects of dementia, and seen a beloved Husband, Dad and Grandad slowly deteriorate as this cruel disease took hold of him. It is heartbreaking to watch someone you love gradually lose their memories, independence and, ultimately, so much of who they once were.

Sadly, dementia affects far too many families.

Unless we act now, one in three people born today will develop dementia during their lifetime. Almost 1 million people are currently living with dementia, and tragically, there is still no cure.

But together, we can help change that.

Just £20 can fund one hour of groundbreaking dementia research, bringing researchers one step closer to better treatments, earlier diagnosis and, ultimately, a cure.
