Junior Brother

Born Ronan Kealy, Junior Brother has gained and continues to amass a rabid following both at home and abroad, thanks to thrilling, unmissable live shows, and a sound which takes traditional Irish instrumentation and makes it "sound like birdsong or Armageddon, sometimes within the bounds of a single song." With a powerfully distinctive voice that is "sometimes a cracked soul, sometimes a deranged howl, sometimes a bedazzling babble" (The Quietus), Junior Brother stands as "one of Ireland's most compelling voices" (The Irish Times).
