Jacko started his DJ career in the now famous Circus Circus in Banbridge, Circus was considered one of the pioneering clubs for bringing rave/club culture and first alnighter to Irish shores.
After a spell in the Kilwaughter House alongside resident, Gleave Dobbin it was on to The Network Club and this is where Jacko really established his sound in Belfast, everything from vocal house to progressive gems, he would hold a residency here for 6 years.
After this Jacko moved to Milk which again become another famous club in Belfast's history, here he was a resident DJ & also co promoted Milk54 a Thursday night that brought the original sound and feel of the famous Studio 54 in New York.
After Milk Jacko then had a 2 year residency in the Potthouse, Cathedral Quarter, from the Potthouse Jacko then went to EL Divino Belfast for another residency. Jacko can still be heard playing in some of Belfast's busiest bars, Margot, Jailhouse, Whites and the Boneyard and various old skool events all around the country.
Jacko has also been busy in the studio, getting back into production again with studio partner Jay Kay and they have a number of releases ready for De-Funkt records, and just this year set up his own record label "Belfast City Records".
