Review of God's Waiting Room ESCAPE-ISM & David Holmes-Menagerie

God's Waiting Room in the Maple Leaf Club with its sprung wood dance floors for me, gwendolin a legend of the Belfast local music scene. I have danced all my life up front from start to finish of Events. I do take breaks when a band is not good, that does not happen at GWR. Now sadly I started having bone-on-bone knee issues and then lower spine disc issues which are the devil for a dancer. The materials of Venue floors that are poured or industrial concrete that Venues that actually care more about Profit than the health of any of their punters have been popping up in Belfast. I have had to scale back my Nights out and the Scene has suffered as no one brings freedom to the dance floor and enthusiastic encouragement to bands quite like me. This is why I hope GWR continues to have Nights in Menagerie so I can attend when my back (hopefully) recovers.

Great night ! Music was excellent, Band was fabulous, excellent venue - I hadn't been there in years but 10/10.
Oh! I dropped my wallet & some very kind soul picked it up & handed it to bar staff .. picked it up today ... cash was intact! Thank you thank YOU whoever picked it up.. I owe you!

Amazing to be back in The Menagerie after a long hiatus, Homer played a blinder, top night!
