On Saturday 1st August, join my pop up Nangi for a Sri Lankan supper club experience with traditional wood-fire cooking, from a menu crafted as an ode to the deeply routed, indigenous fishing culture within the island. In 2022, I was the first person to cook Sri Lankan food on Masterchef in the 18 years it had been running, and made it to the Quarter Finals highlighting the traditions and cuisine the small island has to offer. Nestled amongst the market garden of Vallis Farm and showing casing Vallis' produce grown right where you'll be seated, we will guide you through a Sri Lankan feasting menu, serving my family's favourite recipes in the warmth of the summer evening.
