SamSotck will generation funds to buy a communication aid for Sam Richards, 18, who fell off some play equipment in September 2012, and fractured his skull.

The former Plume College Sixth form student was put in an induced coma after the fall and was given 48 hours to survive, against all the odds he has pulled through, making good progress over the last 18 months. His brain damage means he cannot communicate through talking and spends all his time in a wheel chair.

Sam's mum has teamed up with 3 close friends and The Lions Club to create the event, which will be headlined by TopLoader, who's chart topping hit was Dancing in the Moonlight in 2000. There are many other well known bands including Next of Kin, Scarletts Roses and Soley Mourning.

Tickets for this 12 hours Festival on the 21st June are available from www.essex-live.co.uk and there is a 25% discount of ticket prices for 5 people or more.
