The Rising Souls to Support Cast
Edinburgh band The Rising Souls are set to support Britpop Legends CAST in The Liquid Rooms on 7th April.

The Rising Souls have become one of Scotland's most talked about live acts, with their dynamic rootsy sound and unique stage show.
They have been described as a contemporary, country soul band but there is much more to their sound. They are undoubtedly affected by sixties soul legends from Motown and Stax like Wilson Pickett and Otis Redding, Archibald?s vocals throughout are simply sublime. Raw, extremely powerful and gritty reminiscent of the true soul greats aforementioned.
Promoter David Hanvey said " I recently caught The Rising Souls supporting The Sunshine Underground at a stripped back show and they had the entire audience in the palm of their hands from the start of their set until the end. Pretty much straight after the show I invited them along to come on the bill with Cast and Pete Macleod at The Liquid Rooms."
Their unique soulful sound is a refreshing throwback to a time gone by that many are yearning to recreate for a modern generation.
