A Carnival Finale : The last ever Filth @ Mint Club
Saturday July 2nd / 11pm - 7am

FREE ENTRY IN CARNIVAL DRESS-UP (ANYTHING GOES)*

Buy the ticket, take the ride said one famous late comedian, and those whove partied with Filth for the last 4 1/2 years have certainly done that. After a truly epic journey, though, the night has reached its final destination: Sat July 2nd, their trusted home of Mint Club, and a Carnival themed party with Kanio plus residents playing all night long.

Mint has been Filths spiritual home from the early days of over-sized disco balls right through the half a million pound, futuristic revamp a couple of years ago. Its been an emotional period and many friendships have been made at the palace, so this final event is as much as thank you and goodbye to those people and the club as anything else.

From humble beginnings at various clubs in Wakefield and then Leeds, Filth has grown from a small electro and fidget gathering into one of the most beloved house and techno nights in the north of the country and beyond. Always changing up the music policy and keeping the parties as fresh as the ever sold out crowds, there have been events in every major city in England, regular events in Ibiza on both beaches and boats, festival appearances at Burning Man, Glade, Glastonbury, Creamfields and Global Gathering, partnerships with the likes of The Zoo Project, Toolroom and Ministry of Sound, bespoke warehouse parties and huge live shows (bordering on festival sized, in fact) with the likes of dance music legends Faithless.

Frankly, its been non-stop, and the final hurrah is likely to be no different Themed as a Carnival party (free entry for everyone who dresses up) it is to be a celebration of all the good times from the last four years. Expect a wide array of sounds from the DJs who have always be at the heart of the night form the world go Luke Pompey, King Tut & The Wookie, and founding father Danny Savage.

Joining them will be Kanio, a well travelled DJ and producer for the likes of WetYourself and Autist who is invited back after playing one of the finest sets in Filths history at the last Mint Club session. And as an added special feature for the smoking area, we have the Northern debut of The Spaceman, he will blow your mind!! make sure youre a part of the memories.
