Roller Disco Returns to Chichester After 20 Years!

After almost 20 years, Roller Disco is coming back to the Westgate Leisure Centre! RocknRoller, the team behind this years huge Rollerfest Festival at Bluewater Shopping Centre are launching Saturday afternoon sessions for all ages and all abilities. Their events have been attended famous Celebrities, Olympians and Musicians and ages of those attending range from just 2 years old to 87 years young!

Theres so much more to a RocknRoller event than just being handed a pair of skates! They provide full safety equipment and there are experienced staff and marshals on hand to help with the fitting of pads and assist even the most inexperienced skaters find their feet. Theres a live DJ, professional sound and lighting systems and organized games, dance competitions and activities help to create a fantastic atmosphere that everyone will enjoy. Skaters are encouraged to get dressed up with neon accessories, glowsticks, tutus and legwarmers, all available to buy from an onsite shop. Limited VIP Party Packages are available for each event, a perfect Birthday Party treat with a twist!

RocknRollers Co-Founder, Paul Howells said, Were delighted to be launching in Chichester. The Westgate Leisure Centre has fantastic facilities and the rink itself will be one of the largest and smoothest rinks we operate. Were all really looking forward to these first 5 weekends and already planning for our weekly return next year. Over 18s events are already being discussed!

Five Saturday dates have been confirmed so far this year and there are plans to return after Christmas with regular weekly events! Each Saturday will have two sessions:

Mini Rollers: This is a 1-hour session designed especially for Families with Under 11s. Its a little bit lighter and quieter than the Main Event session later with the focus on getting everyone skating. Parents are able to either skate with their mini rollers or can walk around with them until they find their feet.

Main Event: This is a family-orientated session for everyone. Its suitable for younger skaters who have basic skate skills, right through to genuine skate enthusiasts! Under 11s must be accompanied.
